Our lived Irish heritage
By lifting each stone from the field and connecting them together in boundary walls, a once useless paddock becomes a precious field sustaining life. Those who first built these walls erected permanent memorials to their presence here once upon a time.
Our task at Creeore.com is the same. The 1901 Irish Census records are not very useful in and of themselves. But tidy them up by location, and make them more accessible to everyone, and we hope to encourage and support the research and discovery of the familial tapestry of those who called our towns and townlands home more than a century ago.
